Enteric Coating – Targeted Release

The advanced technology of the enteric-coated technology is designed to withstand stomach acids, protecting the Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids until the capsule passes through the small intestines where it dissolves; the Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids are then released. Direct delivery to the small intestine reduces the required dose by 1/3 as the oil is not affected by stomach acid, additionally the direct delivery provides a higher concentration of fish oil at the site of maximum absorption of fats. This unique delivery provides 5 times the absorption of a regular fish oil capsule. The delayed release of the fish oil in the intestines means there is no fish reflux, burp back, odour, aftertaste or bad breath, commonly associated with other forms of fish oil.

Testing and removal of heavy metals, pesticides and other contaminants including PCB (polychlorinated biphenyls and mercury) is carried out. Manufacturing temperature is carefully monitored throughout process and no synthetic elements or chemicals are used.
